Answer: Unless you have made prior arrangements it is not permitted to take the yacht into Greek waters.

Answer: Yes we may also offer the option with our booking details to pay by bank transfer to our accounts in Turkey or the UK or by Western Union Money Transfer in either Euros, US Dollars, GBP Sterling, AU Dollars or Turkish Lira.

Does it cost more to book through Aegean Yachting Services rather than direct with the yachting company?
Answer: No, our prices are the same as those offered by the yachting company either direct or through their website. There are several advantages to booking with us including: more payment options and the opportunity to book and pay for all your other travel and accommodation services at the same time. Aegean Yachting Services is part of Aegean Tour Travel so if required all your holiday arrangements can be made through one company.

Answer: You should contact our office, preferably the tourism advisor that made your original booking. We will advise you if the yachting company makes a charge for this service.

Answer: The watersports equipment available on board varies from Gulet to Gulet, details of the sporting equipment available on a specific Gulet is available on request.

Answer: The Gulet will be available for boarding from 15:00 on the day the charter commences.

On what days can the charter commence and what is the rental period?
Answer: Normally private Gulet charters start on Saturday or Sunday and are for a minimum period of one week. However during low season periods it is sometimes possible to arrange shorter charters.

Can the charter start and/or end at a port other than the yachts home port?
Answer: Not always, it depends on where the yacht is at the end of the previous charter and if there is time to re-locate the yacht. All requests for charters starting/ending at another port will be considered on request. If this option is available re-location charges will apply.

Is it possible to plan our own itinerary and to choose our own stopping and overnight locations? Answer: Yes, in conjunction with the captain you can plan your own route and stop whenever and wherever you want. The charter price includes travelling for up to 4 hours under power per day.

Are there opportunities for swimming and fishing?
Answer: Yes, private Gulet charters give you the independence to stop when you want. The crystal clear waters around the Turkish Aegean and Mediterranean coasts offer excellent swimming and snorkeling opportunities. Casual fishing is also possible with a rod or drag line while traveling between locations.
