Do cabin-only Gulet cruises visit Greek islands?
Answer: No, none of our Gulet cruises are licensed to enter Greek waters. However our parent company does offer a weekly large ship cruise from Bodrum that visits a different Greek island every day and one night in Athens. Details are available here:

Answer: Yes, payment by credit card is one of the payment options included with our booking details.

Are there other ways to pay other than by credit card?
Answer: Yes we may also offer the option with our booking details to pay by bank transfer to our accounts in Turkey or the UK or by Western Union Money Transfer in either Euros, US Dollars, GBP Sterling, AU Dollars or Turkish Lira.

Does it cost more to book through Aegean Yachting Services rather than direct with the yachting company?
Answer: No, our prices are the same as those offered by the yachting company either direct or through their website. There are several advantages to booking with us including: more payment options and the opportunity to book and pay for all your other travel and accommodation services at the same time. Aegean Yachting Services is part of Aegean Tour Travel so if required all your holiday arrangements can be made through one company.

Answer: Yes, all the Gulets in our listing include all the safety equipment required by the Turkish Chamber of Shipping.

What should I do if I need to change my reservation?
Answer: You should contact our office, preferably the tourism advisor that made your original booking. We will advise you if the yachting company makes a charge for this service.

Is the name of the Gulet and the facilities provided on board available?
Answer: The gulet selected for cabin only cruises is not usually decided until during the week before departure. The Gulet allocated depends on the number of bookings received, this can change up until only a few days before departure. On request we can provide the details as soon as the Gulet to be used is decided.

What time can I board the yacht?
Answer: The Gulet will be available for boarding from 15:00 for departures from Bodrum and Marmaris and between 08:00 and 10:00 on Wednesday for departures from Karacasogut and Fethiye. The departure time from Bodrum and Marmaris may be Saturday evening or Sunday morning depending on the arrival times of the passengers.

Why are the Gulet mini-cruises 3 and 4 days?
Answer: Gulet cabin only mini-cruises are actually half of the full week, 7 day cruises that depart from Bodrum and Marmaris. Karacasogut and Fethiye are the half-way turnaround points which allow mini-cruise passengers to change-over.

What clothes should I take and is there room to stow suitcases on board?
Answer: Casual sports wear, walking shoes, deck shoes, swimwear, tee shirts and a sweatshirt are all you should need. Evenings can be chilly afloat especially during April, September and October. Even though Gulets are relatively large vessels space is always at a premium on a boat, so soft bags are preferable to suitcases.

Is it possible to plan our own itinerary and to choose our own stopping and overnight locations? Answer: No, all cabin only Gulet cruises follow a predetermined route. If you want a Gulet cruise where you can plan your own itinerary then our private Gulet charters would be the best option.

Answer: Yes, our parent company is a fully registered travel agency, we just need to know the dates required and the standard of accommodation required.

Are there opportunities for swimming and fishing?
Answer: Yes, our Gulet cruises spend more time moored than travelling. The crystal clear waters around the Turkish Aegean and Mediterranean coasts offer excellent swimming and snorkeling opportunities. Casual fishing is also possible with a rod or drag line while traveling between moorings.
